This series of paintings on plexiglass started with the discovery of a note written by my grandfather. In it he describes visiting his brother at Tinian Island at the end of World War II. Tinian Island is where the planes that delivered the atomic bombs to Hiroshima and Nagasaki took off from. Inspired by nuclear test footage from the Pacific, each image in the series is bombarded by rays of atomic light.

In cases where a work did not perfectly fit the themes of a series, I placed that work according to date. I placed these less related works at the bottom of the page.
